Victoria’s Annual Olive Festival

Developed in 2000, Victoria’s Annual Olive Festival’s objective was primarily to increase the profile of the Mt Atkinson Olive Grove, the Victorian olive, food and wine industry and secondary to boost the awareness and visitation to Melbourne’s West.

In its first year the olive festival attracted 1,000 visitors and in 2005 it achieved an overall record attendance of 5,000 visitors.

The event is driven by a strategic Public Relations Campaign that was successful in winning the 2005 PRIA National awards of excellence.

Mt Atkinson Olive Grove today has brand awareness of its Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil and has seen a 36% growth in visitation to the grove and café on site.

Sweet Temptation Expo
25th - 26th August 2007
Royal Exhibition Building

Sweet Temptation Expo was an event that featured all things sweet to eat under the one roof.

There was giveaways, competitions and demonstrations with exhibitors highlighting their sweet inventions including cupcakes, pastries, lollies, chocolate and much more.

Created by Dragonfly Exhibitions and Events, the creators wanted to provide an experience oozing with sweetness for those that enjoy the sweet luxuries in life.

The exhibition was also open to trade on Friday 24th August a Sweet Meet trade day a chance for business’ to make connections, source products to best suit their business all under the one roof.

An expo that offers a variety of irresistible temptations, guaranteed to satisfy that sweet tooth!

The event attracted over 10,000 visitors and over $200,000 worth of free publicity.
